While spending a summer studying abroad in Italy (mainly Florence, Rome, and Venice) each student had to keep a visual journal with them. Due to my love of patterns and geometric shapes, mine was full of them. All of these designs were first created with pencil and color pencil, then scanned and vectorized with Adobe Illustrator. These are not meant to be photo-accurate or anything, just an exercise and an excuse to remember my time studying abroad.
Shot with a Pentax K3. Each image should let you know the specs. I've been very interested in bokeh-style photography and want to try my hand at it.

I started this project by taking some referenced shots of the subject, then I vectorized the clock in Adobe Illustrator. This was a fun project, mainly because I got to use a lot of my favorite Illustrator tool: the pen tool (especially when trying to convey "ROMEO" accurately).
